What do you all think of setting up a web forum?
Advantages:
- Easier to search
- Easier for non-metric folks to stumble across and read once they do
- Allows for polls to be done
- You can rate threads if they're particularly interesting (or annoying)
Disadvantages:
- doesn't just land in your inbox. You have to go to the forum site
(although you can get it to mail you if a thread you're interested
in gets posted to).

By all means - go for it! I frequent several other web forvms and they are
very convenient and easy to use. They can be moderated and are easy for
members to post to and have many other advantages over an email list (members
being able to amend their posts if necessary is a BIG one for me).
