A better way to celebrate Metric Week would be to get everyone to send an
email to their Senators and Representative. You can do this by going to
www.senate.gov and www.house.gov and selecting your elected person from the
list.

Metric week is coming up and I've been thinking we could send Washington
a message by getting at least one person from each of the electorates to
send their representative a 10cm ruler with a pro-metric slogan and the
gometric.us and metric.org (easier than lamar.colostate.edu/~hillger)
URLs on it. The more the merrier of course....
Another thing I've been thinking of is to setup 10km fun runs for
workplaces that support such things. All moneys collected going to the
USMA.
