I wrote a carefully worded and thoroughly proof-read message and, by
the time I finished (with all my care and proof reading), the site had
"timed out" on me and I lost the entire message before having a chance
to send it. Now I have to start all over again. As far as I could
tell, there was no way of knowing in advance whether the site had
timed out. You don't find that out until you press the button to
proceed and then (if it has timed out) it's too late, you've lost it
all.

*Alternatively, you could type your reply directly into the comment
box but then, before pushing to button to continue, be sure to copy
your message to save it in case the site times out on you, too. You
could return to the site and start over and at least not have to
retype your entire message.
