Reading them reminded me that a few years ago I was trying to find ways to tell my Excel to display significant digits only, and to let it know how many it was to be. Apparently, that feature was not among the options built into that version of Excel. Several computer savvy friends suggested ways how to do it, all too complicated to bather. I wonder if perhaps a newer version of Excel has that option. It would be a reason to update. Anyone knows? Stan J.
