P.S. I have heard personally from Paul Trusten on the issue of the food lobby and other matters, which I appreciate, and I strongly applaud his ongoing commitment and individual efforts. If there's anyone doing more to advance this cause in the US today, I've yet to learn of that person. But I'm asking more about the kind of larger-scale, campaign-relevant (i.e., contributions, campaign advertising) that are required to have a realistic chance of influencing federal legislation today, particularly when there are organizations that have such assets and oppose change.
