Another letter to a fan company. Read from the bottom up. Another annoyance on this web site was the use of the terms RPM's.

Thanks for your feedback... I will give it to the managers.

If you have a specific fan in mind I can calculate the size into the metric system for you.

I can not guarantee that our fan venders give instruction in metric measurements. Make sure you are aware of our return policy prior to ordering at lumens.com.

US companies should be including metric units on their web sites, in

their literature and in their installation instructions. No one should

have to get out a calculator or call, the metric system is the preferred

system for US trade and commerce which is what I do when I buy anything.

I get metric with my John Deere, with any vehicle I purchase (even US

vehicles are designed in millimeters and have metric bolts), with my

Refrigerator, etc.etc.

I'm looking for 3 modern white ceiling fans, none of the information I

need in term of dimensions is on your web site, if I go into Home Depot

or Lowe's it's on the box, so what do you want me to do when I look at

Fans? Get on the phone and call you for the millimeter size?

What I'm saying is you folks need to get with it and include this

information (as well as inches) on your web site. Even if I called and

got the size I need, is the information included in installation

instructions? If not I'll be returning it at your cost. A better option

at the moment for me is to get something at Home Depot or Lowe's.

Millimeters are a better option than centimeters, because it is a whole

numbers no decimal point. Anyone looking at the number can see instantly

how many centimeters or meters an object is. ( see:

 Hello,

I'd probably buy some of the fans on your site but I need metric units,

do you think you could look into including millimeters? And while you're

at it there is no plural to RPM, it's per "minute" not "revolutions per

minutes" in which case I'd need to know how many minutes you were

 talking about!
