Yes, frequently. Also on web pages.
Some inconsistence between the special characters codes used by the
various systems, from the one used to enter it, to the various ones
that store it or transmit it from one server to another, and on to
your computer.
Who knows where the error creeps in? I think it is sometimes the faulr
of certain fonts which have different special codes from the ordinary
(or erroneous codes that have never been caught).
