Stan, I must disagree about U.S. residential lot sizes being expressed in square feet, at least in my part of the country (New England). Site plans, municipal tax records, real estate listings, and colloquial references are almost exclusively expressed in acres (e.g. .25 acre, .34 acre, 1.00 acre or 1 acre, 1.50 acres, 2.18 acres, etc.). --Mike Barnes >>Residential lot sizes in the US are in square feet.
