I thought these specs for a watch I just saw online were amusing: Case Dimensions: 44mm x 12½mm Bracelet Dimensions: 8 1/8" x 22mm
I guess 3 out of 4 is not bad, but what the hell? I have noticed that the mm has worked its way into public usage for very small distances, and even into general expressions like "missed it by a millimeter". So maybe the bozo who posted these dimensions converted just the longest distance to inches. http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=14f1a08&RefPage=X6&deptID=57646&catID=57646&cmOrigID=1374792&cmPosID=3&CmCatId=EXTERNAL|57646
