I too am getting a bit tired of the weekend sniping.
 
I’ll be going to the UK at the end of this month for two weeks, and will likely 
unsubscribe in order to keep e-mails from piling up on my BlackBerry which will 
get really expensive if there are a lot (also because I want to visit people, 
go places and ring bells, not camp out in front of a computer).

Funny how those of us who own  multiple horses in these parts refer to "feet" 
as often as "hooves".  This includes vets and farriers.  To even mention this 
seems very nit-picky to me.

I agree that this chat room atmosphere has changed the listserve for the worse. 
 My response is to unsubscribe on Friday and resubscribe on Monday, and see 
what happens as a result.
