I've seen both cuillères à thé and centilitres in French recipes. I don't know
exactly how much a French cuillère à thé is.

One thing I don't know how to specify, if I were writing a recipe, is the
temperature of a stove. All the ovens I've seen are marked in °C or °F, but
stoves have a dial going from 1 to 9, or a set of numbered buttons, which I
don't know how to relate to any unit. I have a thermometer which I can use to
tell when something in the pot reaches 100 °C, but the burner could be
150 °C, which I'm guessing the number is related to.
