Did anybody watch Oct 30 show of Numb3rs and catch the metric references. Evil corporation conducts a misguided test of a directed energy weapon for a Pentagon contract (people die). But nice references to the 2 MJ energy beam, and to size of the ball lightening it threw in meters. However, it was not too realistic. Damage was probably in excess of 50 MJ, well above the hopes for the Airborne Laser, which they hope will someday fit in its 747 and fly. This was in a drone with maybe a 2 m wingspan
