I see that all the time and it's not limited to metric.  There seem to be
some people who have nothing better to do then spew uneducated venom into
comment forums, probably as a form of cheap thrill.

 

I think they're called "trolls".   Too much free time on their hands!

Those of you who like debate and discussion for and against the metric
system (and all of the many millions of older pre-metric collections of

Personally I have little time for such debates and discussions as I firmly
believe that metrication is inevitable everywhere in the world and for all
human purposes. I don't think that naive debate serves much purpose toward
the goal of full metrication.
