I disagree. Non-SI units of measure are indeed units of measure, though not our favored ones. Putting them in quotation marks will not prevent you from getting cooties when they are posted, Gene.

I cannot fathom why you are being so fussy as we inch along laboriously toward metrication and face larger hurdles in the process.
