i am also hoping that in 2012 that metric (SI) will continue to be more readily known for more users. in an election (political) year in the US, lets also remember that metrication is certainly a non-partisan topic. in any case, AAT at aatideas.org is preparing for Metrication Month 12012 (MMd2), days 271 to 300 of 2012, a leap year.
