The closest I have found to a Glossary of medical Units of Measurement is "Glossary of EMR, EHR, HIT, and lHIPAA Terms"
e.g. Blood Pressure is coded as BP and is defined as force per unit area, but no unit is specified, neither newtons per square meter nor mm of Hg. A "Unified Code for Units of Measure" is listed but no members of the Code are specified. Next I'll search for the "Unified Code for Units of Measure." Eugene Mechtly
