Our 2007 Prius has the same problem. It will give speed in km/h with a
press of the button, but that's as far as it goes. I had a gen-1 Honda
Insight that was perfect: absolutely everything changed to SI at the
flip of a switch. I don't know about other GM products, but our Chevy
pickup changes to metric for everything except the dial speedometer, but
one has to scroll through a couple of menus to achieve this. Why Toyota
screwed up on this is beyond me. Toyota, are you listening?
