Did you catch it?  On tonight's (July 15) NBC TV world news with Brian 
Williams, there was a piece on the medication screw-ups with mL, 
teaspoons, tablespoons, etc. discussed.  At the end the NBC staff MD, 
Nancy Snyderman (sp?) finished up by telling people to exclusively use 
syringe-like liquid medicine dispensers marked in mL, and "I think it is 
time to switch to the metric system."  Williams added, "At least for 
this purpose".
