And the opposit: Costco has prices per unit(US Customary units), supposedly for 
comparison. Sometimes the units used are not exactly the same and it is close 
to impossible to compare prices for two similar items.

I was buying some electrical wire today, over here wire thickness/cross section 
is measured per square millimetre. I needed 100 m of 10 mm2 cable. One of the 
specs listed is the mass is 565 kg/km. Very easy to see this is 56,5 kg/100 m 
or 5,65 kg per 10 m or 56,5 grams per metre!
