I did a quick calculation.

230 kN = 23.445 tonnes/wt = 23.068 long tons wt = 25.837 short tons weight.

For the record, a “long ton” is 2240 lbs and a “short ton” is 2000 lbs (Just
another UK/US difference).

To answer Mike’s question, the thrust is 23.4 tonnes-wt.

This might be of interest because they show (mostly) 100% SI units. Intersting
to see the Airspeed is km/h and the vertical speed m/s. Translation is not the
best but it’s understandable. I’m sure the Tons mentioned are Tonnes.

No matter "How you look at it", this is a truly a one of a kind incredible
aircraft.

These new photos are well worth viewing to give you an idea of the immense
size, the manning and complexity of its operation.

There have been a few photographs of the AN 225 (Russian Cargo) aircraft which
have gone around countless times before.

These are a new and quality set.
