Whenever I take a trip to Europe I make sure to go to hardware stores and lumber yards and try to get several metric-only tape measures of various lengths. FISCO in the United Kingdom makes a very extensive series of metric-only tapes, and there are other European manufacturers that make a wide variety of tape measures bothe plastic and metal. In the past it was possible to buy metric-only measuring tapes made by Stanley Tools and Starret. Not sure what they still make today. You should probably start there, so at least they know there is demand for this type of measuring instrument. You will probably have to buy one overseas and get it shipped to you in the states, but that is not a big deal, Look around and see what you can find. If all else fails I'll sell you one of mine.
