Yet, the very next command in the commercial is in “ounces.” 

A good argument CAN be made that many users of legacy units don’t have a grasp 
on the difference between ounces and fluid ounces! Product labeling is clear, 
but understanding is not! Yes, the participant and the viewers know that we are 
talking about 35 fluid ounces, since the subject is water.
