Hi Bill,

Very good advice, especially for Americans visiting the UK.  In the UK, most 
people tend  to use stones and pounds or stones and fractions of a stone) (for 
example someone will say that they weigh 15 stone rather than 210 lbs or 95 
kg), though there is growing trend for younger people to use kilograms with 
over 50% of people in 20-30 age group in the London region now routinely using 
kilograms.

BTW, there are 14 lbs I a stone.
