My first guess is, the SD information may be out-of-date, because I was
using USRP2 a lot before. It works fine.
But following "build-gnuradio", it seems to install all the required and
updated firmware and FGPA stuffs.

When I receive with multiple synchronized USRPs, all but one of them will
have very low sample magnitudes, to the point where the noise floor is
quantized. This does not occur when running any of the USRPs on their own,
and it's always addr0 that has the normal-magnitude samples.
I have a 4-radio setup with WBX daughtercards (and simple GDB) operating at
450 MHz, but this happens even when running 2 radios at a time. The RX
gain appears to be getting set correctly on all the boards (or at least
get_rx_gain() says so). I've run test_pps_input on all the boards and it
passed each time.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Sorry I missed your last email!
I just did that by using "sudo ifconfig <interface> 192.168.10.1". The
Ethernet interface of my host computer is now at 192.168.10.1.
I edited the connection information to make sure it is manually configured.
(Not DHCP any more)
I also disabled my firewall by using "sudo ufw disable". So there should be
any block from firewall.
Now I tried to ping USRP2 device, "ping 192.168.10.2", It shows that
"Destination host unreachable".
Can you help to see there is any other issue in my configuration? Thanks a
lot!

No expert but got a couple of USRP2s running. Assuming that you can now ping
the nic at 192.168.10.1 ( i.e. you restarted the network after making the
config changes)? , perhaps you need to power cycle the USRP for the system to
recognise the USRP2 as being on that subnet?
If you can get to the nic and the above does not work, then is there a chance
that you, inadvertently, changed the IP address of the USRP2 from it's default?
if so , one of sections on the link that Josh gave has instructions on how to
change the USRP2 IP address.

Thanks for your suggestions!
I can ping my NIC at 192.168.10.1. But I can not see USRP2 device in the
net. I tried to power cycle the device, unfortunately not working :(
As you suggested, I tried to change the USRP2 IP address.
There are two methods as listed by Josh.
1) For the first one using "./usrp_burn_mb_eeprom", I am getting
"LookupError: No devices found for ---? Empty Device address"
2) For the other method, "./usrp2_recovery.py", I got "Sending packet
(22bytes) Done". But I still can not ping any new IP addresses.

Did you put the UHD images on the SD card as suggested? Otherwise, these
applications cannot communicate with the device.
You can tell if the correct images are on, because the LEDs will do this

It might be most handy to use the streamer->get_max_num_samps().
Basically, whenever you call send, all samples up to a multiple of 512
bytes are committed over USB. So if you dont have any remainder, then
there arent any samples to hang around in uncommitted buffers.
The submissions are around max 4000 samples, so that may or may not
describe what you are seeing, depends on how low your sample rate may
be, and how many samples per call to send().

Hi Josh
Yes. I did the loading with the updated firmware and FPGA file manually
into SD card.
The LED dances same as the video, except that LED B: MIMO cable link is not
on.
Now I can ping 192.168.10.2 while my host ethernet IPV4 address:
192.168.10.1
But I can not find the device using "uhd_find_devices" or "uhd_usrp_probe".
Also, if I use "./usrp_burn_mb_eeprom" to give another IP, the error
appears "No devices found for --->"

Josh,The two N210s are connected through the MIMO cable in master/slave config.
I am feeding the reference signals (1PPS and 10MHz) from GPSDO installed on the
master and the slave should synchronize through the MIMO cable.
I have checked using an Oscilloscope that the GPSDO is giving the following
outputs
1 PPS, 200ms pulse of amplitude 3.2 V (Duty cycle 20%)10 MHz sine wave,
amplitude 4.18 Vpp. (There were some adapters in the link to Osc)Despite the
reference signals coming from GPSDO, the system is not synchronized. I am not
sure if I also need to do some software settings before the GPSDO sync signals
are properly fed to the system.

According to your notes below, you do not have the time source
selected. Make sure the ref and time sources match your description.
Also, I do not see an address string in your notes below. Write an
address string to ensure that UHD is picking up the USRPs in the correct
order and configuring these ref/time setting correctly. Otherwise,
you're subject to UHD's autonomous motherboard selection.
So you should try something along the lines of:
Addr: addr0=192.168.10.x,addr1=192.168.10.y
Mb0 Ref: External
Mb0 Time: External
Mb1 Ref: MIMO
Mb1 Time: MIMO
Try this and get back to us.
