Not to slam Nick or anything, but is this a "Unix" users group or a
"Linux" users group?

I don't have anything against Linux. I've run it since Slackware came
on 40+ floppies. I've used Red Hat, Debian, and Suse to good effect in
different environments. I've also used FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, and
HP-UX. And, in ancient times, Sys V (r2 and r3), Version 7 (Fortune OS),
SunOS (3 and 4), AIX, Irix, Ultrix, OSF/1, 4.(2 and 3) BSD, Pyramid
OSx, and even Xenix. Oh, don't (or maybe do) forget Eunice. And I'm
sure there were a few in there that I missed (A/UX perhaps).

I just don't want to see this group turn into a "Linux rocks, all other
operating systems suck" type of group. I get enough of that from
Slashdot. :-)
