My boss has fully converted to Firebird and Thunderbird off of IE and Eudora. Being a diehard Eudora user, I've been surprised how well he has liked Thunderbird. He has nothing but praise for it. Plus one of these days he's going to convert over to linux, and that combination makes the path rather straight-forward.
