I've been messing around with it recently. Eventually I'll put up a web
page about what I've tried and solicit help from other people.

I'm using Wine on Gentoo, which sets a bunch of default preferences.
I'm guessing that everything will work the same on another distro, too,
but I haven't tried. I don't have any Microsoft files on my computer.

I tried several things to get things going. Here's what finally worked:

I downloaded PAF 4 from the Church's web page and it installed without
any problems. I then deleted the directory C:\WINDOWS\PROGRAM
FILES\COMMON\INSTALL SHIELD. I then installed PAF 5, also from the
Church's web page.

Everything I've tested so far seems to work, except that there's some
sort of a font or display problem when editing records. Let me know if
you find any sort of a solution to that. Also please let me know what
works or doesn't work for you; like I said, I'm going to put up a web
page about it eventually, so the more info the better.

Good luck.
