Schools should probably be the first target since what people use at
school will be what they know and want. Besides, public schools can't
(shouldn't) afford Windows and Office (subversive freebies aside).

And on that note, it _may_ interest some of you to know that attitudes
at Alpine School District are finally starting to warm up toward
Linux/OSS. For years it's been like talking to a brick wall, but after
getting free passes to this year's Brainshare, and seeing Novell's
enthusiasm, some of the PHB's around here are beginning to think about
it.

This is known as the "The people you hired to understand and manage
technology should have no say in actual technology decisions -- you can
only believe something (and you must believe everything) that comes from
outside consultants or corporations that are completely unfamiliar with
your specific technology needs" principle.

But I'll take what I can get. :)
