I interpreted your question several different ways: Q1) Where is the last .iso file to be produced? A1) I don't know -- for awhile I had it on a temporary server, but that is no more. We were waiting for an update to a UUG server before loading it on the UUG site -- I'm not certain what the progress is on that. I hope to have this resolved before the next release. Q2) Where is the project in progress and/or why isn't it more transparent to the group? A2) You're right -- the process should be more transparent. We're working on that, too. I need to figure out who the new webmaster is . . . Q3) What the heck is taking so long? Why has it been since last November since we've had an update? A3) Largely because I'm taking the time to organize it into data, write thorough documentation, etc. As we've added more and more software packages, it has become increasingly easy for mistakes to slip through. I was really embarrassed to see errors on both the 1.4 and 1.5 versions -- by organizing the data, automating page creation, and having a quality assurance process, I hope to have a much tighter product in the end. But it takes time. Q4) Where's my SSS CD that I burned for my own personal use? A4) It's under the front passenger seat in your car, along with 73 cents in change and two really old and nasty peanut M&Ms. Dave ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
