actually, i prefer vi.

i've never liked emacs 'monolithic' philosophy.  note, that i still use
emacs on occasion though.

yes, the debian folks can be very zealous - though i'm not one of them.  i
just think they did a great job with linux, so i use it.

Actually, in all seriousness, that tidbit seems to throw a very
strange light on your comments, seeing as how all Debian GNU/Linux
users are dedicated FSF fanatics and card carrying members of the
Church of Emacs, right?

OK, maybe that wasn't in all seriousness...
