Cost - I'm only paying $12 total a month - TOTAL. 1 Number, unlimited
lines in and out of the house, unlimited free instate calls.

CONS:
BV - My particular VSP is junk. This is not really a VoIP thing, but a
Broadvoice thing. I stick with them cause they let me use Asterisk and
the price and features are right. If they are *not* working then I use
Nufone to dial out (press "9" before dialing). That doesn't help with
inbound.

Who are you with?

I was initially planning on using Gizmo, which is $0.01/minute for
calls to POTS in the US, and then maybe getting a router that has some
SIP support and a phone out adapter built in.

Free instate calls might be nice though.

And it definately sounds like it's time for me to look at asterisk. It
always sounded cool, I just haven't needed it yet.

Thanks,
