Could be your phone, your setup, or your internet connection. What can
you tell us about each of these? Linksys/Sipura 941 phones reduce echo
with a firmware upgrade. If you're getting broken sound as well as echo,
check your connection. Asterisk has settings for echo cancellation, as
well. Keep in mind that it can be rather CPU intensive.

For a connection to the outside world, check out arrivaltel.com. They're
a couple of local (Orem) boys that are out to change the world. Don't
pay any attention to the animated GIF on their site--they're pretty dang
cool in spite of it.
