The discolored hand is the reason Leonardo wrote his notes in mirror
writing, right to left. I'm sure with a bit of practice you could copy the
renaissance luminary's trick to avoid smudging your ink. You must have a
fast drying low ink pen not to have that problem.

As noted at the bottom of your message though, digital entry methods tend
not to have much bias toward either dexterity.
