Chris,
The issue with MinGW is known, but has been a lower priority due to the
availability of MS Visual Studio for free.

This is interesting, since I've been using the MS Visual Studio 10.0 without
problems for any test programs. Perhaps it was some ordering of header files.
Normally only header files in /usr/include are used, and they handle all the
Windows dependencies. Could you send your hello world file to test?

Unfortunately, only recently have any issues with uninstall been reported on
Windows Server 2008 (based on Windows 7) have been reported. No problems had
occurred with uninstall during our testing. So the information of your problems
is the first time any problems with Windows 7 uninstall. Can you describe what
the problem was with the uninstall? Otherwise we cannot fix it.

Since I only found out 2 weeks ago about the problem with uninstall on Windows
Server 2008, what information to you have the uninstall is a KNOWN problem?

Sincerely
Jeff Fellin

what was the YYYY-MM-DD of the uwin-base and uwin-dev you installed?
