If it will turn in the gas cap it's the right key, it's possible one of the wafers inside might be sticking, spray some WD-40 or penetrating oil in the lock and work key back and forth,you can find the key code for the bike on a decal that's applied to the back side of the mounting bracket for the ignition switch. take the switch and code to any good locksmith and he can cut you extra keys by the code. to get the park position on the switch you first have to push down on the key then turn to the left.
