Hi fellas,

Amazing, but in the end I got the set of oval canisters from TBR through their rep. in
Holland. It took about a month, so I can seriously say that living in the US has many
advantages, one of them being that you store plenty of stuff and normally pick out
from a shelf. Us in Europe have to wait to order it. In most of the cases these are
blind orders since you have either seen the product in a magazine, picture or in the
net, but never had direct contact or tested the goods.

I clearly bought goods without having even seen the product before, just relying on
comments and bare instinct.

This is the third exhaust system my bike has run on, but I must say that it is the
most rewarding and pleasing set of canisters I have ever heard, after having listened
to most of the systems in an *.wav on the net. If I ever make a sound recording and
send it to someone, they must have a subwoofer to be able to appreciate the deep
mellow idle, very similar to a Duke that this awesome set of canisters produces.

They are also beautiful and very nicely finished. I do not recommend the carbon fiber
model since they will not withstand a Dynotest due to an almost certainty of burning
away the carbon due to lack of cooling air. (important warning mentioned in the TBR
instructions brochure).

Before installing them I must confess I was deeply concerned about the noise they
would produce, when looking right through the canister from inlet to outlet nozzles, a
clean straight duct, I was even considering to install some kind of restriction on the
outlet, but there is no need. While idling the sound is so deep that glass windows
shake due to resonance, but when you crack the throttle open a kind of a burst takes
place, not too loud, but really meaning business. (must remind the newcomers that I am
running a Stage 7 Kit from Dynojet).

I have just changed both my tyres today so I don't dare doing any foolish testing, but
without even having touched the idling screws the bike runs very smoothly without any
undesired low/mid rpm flat spots. It's early to say, but I'm a firm believer that this
system has had a lot of designing put into it and the price you pay will be more than
covered with the performance improvement. And sound delivered...... well, you just
have to try it.

So Hindle/Kerker? TBR no doubt! (would like some input from TBR dual oval canister
owners)
