I just finished dropping the rear end from my 89 Venture in my 85 Vmax. 1st and 5th gear is where I notice the difference most. I seem to want to over-rev the engine in 1st gear now. I took it to 10,500 rpm before realizing where I was at on the tach.the first time out. I plan to run the Vmax rear in the Venture and Venture rear in the Max this summer then decide if I need to trade one or the other, or go back to stock set up. There appears to be about 400-500 rpm difference between the two set ups. ===== Ken B.
