Tim,
I recently installed a 4-2-1 Hindle SS with the 16"
aluminum can. I have K&N filter,2 3/4" holes drilled
in top of airbox,157.5 mains,needles shimmed with 1
.027 washer,stock springs cut 1" and idle mixture
screws 3.5 turns out.
My bike runs extremely well set up like this, it will
pull the front wheel off the ground just by rolling
the throttle on in first gear,before I would have to
hit about 5-6K to lift the wheel.The oil light comes
on in 2nd and 3rd gear at 8K. I have the 152.5 mains,I
might put them back in sometime and see if I can tell
a difference.
