Not reaching the normal operational temperature is not good for any mechanical device, 
including the Max, but the average owner will operate his machine in this condition. 
So if you want some advice, don't worry about it. Every time you start the machine it 
takes more than five minutes to achieve normal working temperature and you can do 
nothing about it. So if you  worry about wear, think about it every time you start 
your trip. The engine has been designed to take that load and the maximum wear will 
normally take place while warming up the engine, but what ever you do, do not stand 
there and rev up the engine waiting for the temperature to rise, just drive the bike 
from start-up, avoiding overreving and come to terms with the engine.

No one is perfect......
