It's been this way since I purchased my bike. I lost about 2/3's of a quart in 1500 miles. Went from top line to just below lower line (on the centerstand!!) Since I replaced my pickup coil, I have noticed something very odd. My max accumulates white powdery stuff right on the frame where my oil accumulates. My first thought was grinding metal somewhere on the shift linkage, but I can't determine what it is. It takes about a week (75 miles) to get a fairly noticeably layer. Is this normal and only visible b/c of the oil acting as a tacky surface? Thanks for any help, Howie '93 Max .............................................
