I know this subject has been beat to
death.......BUT.......I'm looking for specific jet/needle recommendations from
you guys with similar setups (so I'll be in the general jet size area from the
start)
I have a '99 Max with:
Kerker 4:1 (dealer installed)
Factory Stage 1 Kit (dealer installed, but I had to
turn out the pilot screws 3.5 to correct a lean condition and resynch the
carbs)
K&N Individual Air Filters (self installed,
breather on crank vent)
I have no idea what size jets are in there now, but
the bike drops dead @ 4500rpm during acceleration. I can lightly cruise to
6000rpm before the power drops off.
