FYI - I have been on the BMW GS list and they are talking about a
new helmet by Schubert - the concept( Schubert makes the BMW system 4
helmet, so you can get a sizing from those helmets and see the quality). It
is a helmet like the duotec that has a hinge at the connection from the chin
piece to the main portion of the helmet, so that the chin piece can rotate
90 degrees. It also has a flip down tinted visor. Several of the Listers
swear that it is the best helmet they have worn. Unfortunately, it is not
sold in the USA yet, but is available in Europe and available at chili. It
runs about $340 to your door. I will likely get one once Uncle Sam gets
