The front end of the bar goes on an engine bolt.  You go ahead and bolt the
tab to the brace and then hold it against the frame while you tack it in
place.  This way you get a perfect fit.

In my opinion, the weld on version is the way to go.  If you can find
someone with a MIG welder, it's a 10 to 15 minute job.  Figure an hour by
the time you repaint and tidy things up.
