Nick,
 I went through that when I installed the solid
mounts.  Like Tyler said previously,install the rear
tubes and leave them real loose. I put the center bolt
under the bike on the mufflers in loose, then stuck
the front tubes into the mufflers,leaving them off the
front cylinders,after sliding them in,attach them to
the exhaust studs on the front of the block. I had to
use a screwdriver and lightly tap the connections
together under the bike.Once they are in all the
way,then tighten the muffler/exhaust tube conections
first,then tighten up exhaust studs.
 Its easier with 2 people,no doubt also. I even had
difficulty removing the exhaust a second time to
install a Hindle.
