Well... I was chatting with John Furbur today about a new sportmax seat
when I asked him about putting my stock exhaust back on.... He said well
why dont you punch a couple of holes in your cobras to relieve some
backpressure.... I told him that it was my understanding that the cobras
made the engine breath too much. He said that it wasnt so... SO I took
his advice and punched 8 5/32 holes in each one. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! all
this time my hp was there and I didnt know it... I went from pulling
baby wheelies when it was cold to pulling 1/2 blockers! wow thanx John!
Hacksaw does it again.... But I still have a question.. now with my
setup.... I have a stage 1 jet kit.... with stock mains.... (thats all I
know.. .Im technically challenged) with a K&N air filter.... along with
the cobras.... I heard that I could punch some holes in the Y of the
airbox to get some more hp.... Is that true? and should I? thanx
