Subject: Re: Spark Plug question will stay sharp and mileage good. The platinum are more intended for race applications where constant 10,000 plus hammers them and a more reliable plug that can hold up is needed. Howie, I suggested a better quality spark plug, but then if a better plug is not useable, then maybe either is better oil or why upgrade the tires stock ones work well, no reason to change the rim and tires to 17" stock one's work fine, leave the stock shocks on they work fine also, why put PS or Race tech front springs in stock ones work fine, and last why do any engine mods the stock engine is just great as it is. Platinum plugs are now in many domestic cars and a few bikes, you asked for a plug recommendation and I offered my opinion and that's the plug I and all the max owners in my area use. |
