Howie, I am one who is not concerned about minor increases or decreases in mileage.there's a gas station everywhere, I use these plugs because there reliable and are not prone to fouling and are basically self cleaning, I used one set for 32,000km(20,000miles) with no loss in power no missing,the only reason I am putting in a new set is PCW through out the set that in the motor when I took it to them last October. I use them and all the max guy's in Ottawa use them, your decide if they warrant the extra cost, it's a premium plug but original plugs work well also.
