I use a product called Liquid Glass. It goes on like wax, let it dry and
buff it off. I use it on paint, motor, exhuast pipes (!). It doesn't
yellow and wont burn. My '85 motor looks better than new. Also, cooked on
bugs and road grime just slide off when you hit it with water. I've been
using it on everthing I own for about 15 years and I can't say enough good
things about it. It costs about $20 per pint, good for about six coats on a
car.
