Custom Chrome carries a high intensity taillight/stoplight bulb. It is used
in either 1034 or 1157 applications.Their catalog does not give a watts
rating only an AMPS of 2.25(same as they rate standard 1157 bulbs). The bulb
has the following printed on it, 12V50/14CP. Its rated by CC to have a
candlepower of 50/14 vs. standard bulbs at 32/3. These DO have a noticeable
increase in brightness when I've replaced just one and compared with the
remaining standard one in the rear light housing. My concern is that they
might draw more current and either melt wiring or the housing. Knowing the
"stock" setup isn't the brightest (no pun) I'd sure prefer to run these or
something "proven" to be more enlightening(pun intended).ANYONE with
experience/knowledge your input would be appreciated.
