I have used all three sizes of windshields available from Yamaha. I have
settled on the large customline windshield. I can see over it and yet I get
very good protection. It will eat 1-3 mpg depending on wind & you will lose
5-8 mph off the top end. However for all the long rides I do I much prefer
it to the smaller shields. Tim VMOA # 1036
